I had the opportunity to work with Pinnacle Fitness for a little over a year and the experience was positively life changing! I found Pinnacle with a goal in mind to learn about fitness and how it could help support my personal weight loss journey. I was very naïve and did not have any fitness education what so ever. I met with the owner Chris for a success session and went over all my goals and what I wanted to get out of the program. We found a plan that worked for me and I made a commitment on the first night we met. Over the year I was with Pinnacle, I met 3 awesome coaches, Patrick D, Patrick S, and Cameron who were welcoming, educational, and full of energy. My schedule with Pinnacle was an early morning Monday class and a late night Thursday class, and there was never time where their energy didn’t rub off on me and set me up for the start or end of my day.

Throughout my time, the team gradually introduced me to various cardio workouts and a progressive workout schedule that eventually got me into lifting some serious weight. They were thoughtful about my fitness level and constantly pushed me to progress my fitness. Each class I received a personal check in and was able to quickly go over how I was feeling and any adjustments I might need to make to my program. Another added benefit was I discovered a passion for running through the cardio side of their program. When I let the coaches know I wanted to pursue goals down that route, they immediately jumped in and tweaked my program to help me become a better a runner.

Some goals Pinnacle helped me achieve were becoming “fitness educated”, I can now approach fitness with a sustainable plan and to keep weight off, and build muscle! I am a consistent 3 day a week runner with the knowledge to avoid injury as much as possible, and if something comes up I understand how to rehab myself. I have kept my weight loss off for almost two years now!

Pinnacle has truly helped me become a better version of myself as I navigate some of the harder years in my life. Being a full time professional and a full time parent along with the added stress of staying in shape is now achievable, and also gave me the ability to continue to improve in all aspects. This was a life changing time for me, and I really appreciate the business this team has created. When I look around various gym’s and other programs, I can comfortably say they have the best program in the Metro West area. I highly recommend them if you are serious about making a change in your life.

Both my wife and I have been working a fitness plan with Pinnacle Fitness with amazing results! Chris and his staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable and positive motivators for anyone from the soccer mom to the serious athlete. Working out @ Pinnacle is amazing! The workouts are tailored to exactly what you need in order to achieve your specific results. The workouts are always changing, they’re always challenging and they’re fun! The facility is clean and inviting and the energy in there really just gets you motivated. Chris is a great motivator. He’s got the energy, the knowledge and the patience to get you where you want to be. In the time I’ve been there I’ve lost 12 pounds, countless inches and my physique is completely different. I’m strong and lean, I have muscles in places I didn’t know existed and I just feel great! I’ve really enjoyed my 7AM workouts! I decided it was beyond time to get back into a gym.  However I was concerned that the carpal and tennis elbow in my left arms would hold me back.  I also felt, after seeing my Wife have great success with a one on one personal trainer, that a trainer would help motivate me and guide me.  I found Pinnacle in a search, read all the positive reviews, called Chris and met him a day later.  His enthusiasm and knowledge impressed me and I felt safe in signing up for six months.  Training is semi private with an ~3:1 ratio of clients to trainers.   This seemed ideal to me.  Someone to guide your form, but not hovering over you like your own personal drill sergeant.  Plus the price was right.  One on one training is 2-3x more expensive.  Chris and his staff have been great.  They always ask me how everything feels before I start working out.   They always have a modification to adjust my workout if something isn’t right.   They are always happy to see me and I am always happy to see them.   Six weeks in and my core is stronger (I have a bad disc) and I am down about 5lbs.  My carpal tunnel is 75% better and my chronic tennis elbow hasn’t flared once.  I am so happy I gave Chris and Pinnacle a try.  It isn’t a gym filled with body builders either.  Just real people getting real help with a dose of real heart.

Honestly, there aren’t enough stars to give Chris and Pinnacle Fitness. Chris has been my personal trainer for about 5 months, and I am in the best physical/mental shape of my life. The couple of sessions a week keeps me mentally grounded and keeps my stress at bay. Chris/Patrick are particularly observant to my reaction to every exercise. If I show signs of exhaustion or discomfort due to a given physical move, they will immediately ask if I am okay and if I want to continue. Everyone at Pinnacle Fitness is very sensitive to my well being. When I had an unrelated hip injury, he (Chris) modified my workouts to allow me time to heal and strengthen my hip. I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Chris and Pinnacle Fitness!!!!

Let me take you back 20 weeks….. I was a woman who hid under baggy tee shirts. I had a very low self esteem and only felt comfortable hiding my body. I joined the gym to ya know, lose a couple of pounds. But when I met Christopher Morel, the “just losing a couple of pounds thing” completely changed. Not only is Chris a fantastic Trainer, but he is also a very inspiring person to be around. You can tell he truly loves what he does. He gave me encouragement to keep reaching for my goals and to constantly challenge myself. Failure is never an option when it comes to Chris. Chris definitely makes you work hard, but it never really seems like work. He is charismatic, absolutely hysterical (ask him to sing and dance for you) and extremely supportive. You’ll sweat and probably be sore the next day, but you will do it with a smile on your face. Chris is a great Trainer in the sense that he makes your body strong, but he is truly wonderful in what he does for the soul. He makes you want to reach your goals. He pushes you to keep going. You want to succeed for yourself, but also for him. I go to the gym almost everyday now, I LIVE by a packet he gave me called “Nutrition for Life,” and I really believe my fitness goals are at my finger tips as long as I keep up the work. Since working with Chris, I’ve lost 11 pounds, gone down 2 dress sizes, I had heart palpitations, ankle and knee pain before working with him that have disappeared. Ultimately, he gave me my self confidence back, which I could never thank him enough for.

Chris has been my trainer the entire time that I have been a member, and he has been my boyfriends Trainer for the past three months. I feel incredibly lucky to have been paired up with Chris, as he is such a positive, energetic person. He has absolutely transformed my body, and some of my least favorite parts have become some of my best attributes. He is always able to motivate me and make me smile. He makes sure that I have a plan for the week, and helps me stay on track. I even get a “pep talk” e-mail from him, telling me how great a job I am doing. He is nothing short of amazing.
However, the real success story is my boyfriend. In December 2007, my boyfriend weighed close to 270lbs. He dropped to about 250lbs on his own, by joining the gym (and mainly playing basketball), and eating well. I encouraged him to workout with Chris, and he is now healthier, has more energy, and considers the gym part of his daily routine. This is a complete 180 from the man that I had previously known, who was sedentary, and while he loved basketball, hated to lift or workout. Chris has managed to motivate him and change his views.
I am proud to report he is now down to 225, and has definition and muscles that he hasn’t seen in years!
I have been a member of health clubs for about 10 years, and worked out with trainers on and off. No one has the charisma and passion for fitness that Chris has. He is extremely knowledgeable, and an all around great person. He has changed our lives for the better.

I was in a work-out rut. I’d spent more than a year focusing on losing weight and running was my singular key to success. Although the number on the scale had gone down, I was getting injured a lot and I wasn’t in what I would consider to be great shape. I wasn’t toned or feeling very at all. There are always ways to work around pain and still get in a tough workout. Speaking of tough, Chris helped me push myself beyond what I ever thought I was capable of. When he walked over to the free weight section of the gym and told me I would be doing squats with a huge barbell, I laughed at him. He just smiled and racked up the weights, then slowly showed me how to do it. Guess what? The free weight stuff is awesome! It makes me feel so powerful and strong. I never would have even gone near that equipment without Chris’s encouragement. Throughout the time we worked out together, Chris checked in with me often via text and email, he regularly adapted and updated my plan so that I was learning new stuff all the time and pushing my limits at a comfortable level. And the work paid off. I am stronger and firmer than I’ve been in years. I couldn’t be happier with the results.
Additionally, Chris’s encouragement, smile, high-fives and enthusiasm are contagious. There are few people out there who enjoy their work as much as Chris. It’s a pleasure to work out with him. Chris Morel is a truly excellent trainer. He is the perfect combination of encouragement and motivation, and he works the whole person — mentally, emotionally and physically. Because of his efforts, I’ve learned a lot, feel much better, and have had significant reduction in symptoms from cervical disc herniation. He suggests exercise routines that are individualized and challenging, but not more than I can handle.
